H.B.D. Construction, Inc. is a diverse, full-service general contracting and construction management firm located in St. Louis since 1922. We have extensive experience in senior living, multi-family, historic conversions, retail, office buildings, medical facilities, entertainment and industrial projects.
Our highly qualified office staff consists of trained professionals who understand the construction process from initial design through completion. Each project is assigned one manager who is solely responsible for the project from start to finish; the manager also reports daily to the President or COO, who both maintain an active role in each of HBD’s projects.

Our History
H.B.D. Construction was originally founded in 1922 by Horace B. Deal as H.B. Deal & Company, Inc. The company successfully completed a wide range of projects in its early years, including monumental and memorial buildings, churches, schools, hospitals, industrial plants, commercial structures, and housing projects.
